My name is Molly Coyne and I am a full-day kindergarten teacher.I graduated from University of Delaware in 2012 with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. For the past five years, I have worked at a charter school in Wilmington as a kindergarten teacher. I am certified in both Delaware and Pennsylvania.
I absolutely love being a kindergarten teacher – it is who I am! Kindergarten is its own special grade and has a special place in my heart. Watching students learn and grow every day is beyond rewarding.
I am lucky enough to be the team leader of the kindergarten team at my school and work every day with 6 other fantastic teachers. Our team meets twice a week and collaborates on a variety of lessons, activities, and units. Working on a team is essential in the field of teaching and I am proud to help facilitate that as a team leader.
This website is meant to share activities and resources I have used in my own kindergarten classroom over the past several years. I hope this website helps to inspire a fellow kindergarten teacher. Over the past several years, I have grown as a teacher so much. My classroom is constantly changing, as I am constantly learning and growing as an educator. By sharing my resources and activities, I hope to help another teacher learn and grow as well.
The website is organized by subject matter. Each blog post is organized by area of study – language arts, math, science, and social studies. The posts can also be found by clicking on the tags in the sidebar. There is also information about my classroom management and routines.
